Barcelona Fans Chant "Lopetegui Stay, We Love You!" During Sevilla Win

Barcelona Fans Chant "Lopetegui Stay, We Love You!" During Sevilla Win

As well as going through the longest goal drought in their decorated history after failing to score against Levante in the opening ten minutes of the second-half, Real Madrid are now five games without a win after Saturday's 2-1 defeat.

It has been an unexpected and disappointing start to the season for Los Blancos.

And hours later things got worse when bitter rivals Barcelona went and smashed four goals past Sevilla at the Nou Camp.

It was another low blow for The Meringues as the Spanish giants sit in sixth.

On top of that result, the Catalan support rubbed salt into the wounds with a chant aimed at under fire manager Julen Lopetegui.

According to reports from the Spanish press, Barcelona fans were heard chanting "Lopetegui Stay, We Love You!" as the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez found the net.

Whether Lopetegui will remain at the Bernabeu for the foreseeable future is yet to be announced but reports suggest that former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte could take over.

Lopetegui stands on the precipice of losing two of the world's highest profile jobs in the space of just over four months with his Real side struggling.

On Saturday Los Blancos lost 2-1 at home to Levante, their fifth game without a win in a row, leaving the former Porto man under pressure ahead of next weekend's Clasico, which some don't think he'll make.

His future though has been in doubt for a couple of weeks it seems.

According to Spanish paper El Pais the club contacted Antonio Conte the day after the 3-0 loss to Sevilla, the first game of the five match sequence, about potentially becoming manager.

Do you think Conte is a good fit for Los Blancos? Or does Lopetegui deserve more time at the helm?
