Angel Di Maria's Free-Kick Against Montpellier Dubbed 'The Most Satisfying Of The Season'

Angel Di Maria's Free-Kick Against Montpellier Dubbed 'The Most Satisfying Of The Season'

Angel Di Maria continued his excellent form for PSG tonight by hammering home a sensational free-kick against Montpellier.

The Argentine winger was in brilliant form for the French champions against his former club Manchester United last week in the Champions League, as he played a crucial role in setting up both goals in a 2-0 win.

And just over a week later, the 30-year-old was up to his old tricks again in Ligue 1, netting what will undoubtedly be considered one of the best free-kicks in European football this season.

Unbelievable stuff.

There is absolutely no denying that a well-struck set-piece always looks that little bit better if it hits the crossbar before crossing the line, don't you agree?

That's the ex-Real Madrid man's tenth goal of a pretty impressive campaign, and with every passing goal it looks like Red Devils fans really missed out on watching a truly gifted player.

PSG went on to win the match 5-1, thanks to goals from Kurzawa, Di Maria, Nkunku, Hilton and Mbappe.

But this free-kick grabbed all the headlines.
