Daily SPORT journalist Albert Rogé has gone to extraordinary lengths to track the movements of Barcelona target Arturo Vidal.

In the clip we see Rogé try his best to hide among the trees as he spies on the Chilean midfielder, reporting that he has not yet left the hotel after eating with his Bayern Munich team-mates.

Later, Rogé captures Vidal leaving the hotel in a black Audi with sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic, when reportedly asked about the move, Vidal replied: "I cannot say anything yet".

The 31-year-old moved to the German champions in 2015 from Juventus for £32m but has been given permission to leave by new manager Niko Kovač.

Inter Milan were believed to be the frontrunners for the midfielders' services, however, it now appears he is heading to Spain. They have now reportedly set their sights on Luka Modrić from Real Madrid.

The Guardian reports that Barcelona have completed the transfer for £27m after agreeing to personal terms, but there are conflicting reports as it edges closer and closer.

Regardless, £27m for one of the world's best box-to-box midfielders is surely a steal in the current crazy transfer market?

Barça have already been splashing the cash this summer, spending over €100m on Brazilian duo Malcom and Arthur as well as French defender Clément Lenglet.

The transfer of Malcom made headlines when Barcelona swooped for the winger just as Roma were on the verge of signing him, they are now considering whether they have a legal case over the transfer.
