Tottenham will be without their influential South-Korean through suspension for their Champions League semi-final first leg against Ajax.

And Son Heung-min was completely unaware of his ban until a journalist on German TV asked him about it.

The reporter asked Son how he felt and the Spurs hero simply replied by saying: "I didn't know!"

Ouch.

Has Geoff Shreeves moved to Germany?!

Who could forget Shreeves telling Branislav Ivanovic that he was ruled out of the Champions League final back in 2012?!

He was informed of his suspension on live TV in brutal fashion.

Anyway, back to Son. He'll be huge loss for Spurs who're already without Harry Kane through injury.

Son starred for Spurs last night as he bagged a brace including a sublime second goal.

He led the attack brilliantly yet Mauricio Pochettino will be without his luxurious services for the home leg.

Spurs entertain Ajax on April 30 before heading to Amsterdam on May 8.

Will the North London outfit secure a spot in the Champions League final?
