Romelu Lukaku might not be Belgium's designated captain at this World Cup but the talented striker has become a huge influence among his teammates both on and off the pitch.

In the past the Manchester United forward hasn't exactly shown any real leadership qualities for his respected clubs, from what we see on the big screen.

That being said, he has grown in recent months, showing that has that fire and passion to become a future captain for club and country.

On four separate occasions in Russia this summer, Lukaku has gathered his teammates in a circle to inspire them.

As you can see in the following pictures, the 25-year-old encourages the group constantly. Even some Manchester United fans are suggesting that he should become the next captain.

Manchester United teammate Ander Herrera summed up the striker's influence perfectly last season:

"He is so hungry, he wants to win things, he wants to score goals and he wants to be important." Herrera told Manchester United's official website.

"It doesn't matter that he hasn't played Champions League before, he has scored goals and played in the best league in the world so he will score goals for us."

Manchester United and Belgium will be delighted by his all around influence and ambition.
