Romelu Lukaku Almost Punched Through The Ground After Nemanja Matic's 91st Minute Winner

Romelu Lukaku Almost Punched Through The Ground After Nemanja Matic's 91st Minute Winner

Well that escalated quickly.

Manchester United produced a memorable comeback on Monday Night Football and in-form striker Romelu Lukaku summed up how every Manchester United fan was feeling in the final minutes.

Andros Townsend and Patrick van Aanholt gave Crystal Palace an unexpected 2-0 lead at half-time, but second half strikes from Chris Smalling, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic sealed an important win for Mourinho' men.

Lukaku, who scored the equaliser with a composed finish, couldn't contain his excitement when Matic smashed in a 30-yard thunderbolt.

Rather than celebrate with his teammates, the Belgian forward reacted by punching the ground and praying to the heavens.

Now this is what you call passion, folks.

Plenty of people picked up on Lukaku's incredibly passionate celebration after Matic's last minute stunner and took to Twitter to applaud his efforts.
