River Plate Fan Smuggles In Flares Into Stadium By Wrapping Them Around A Young Child

A River Plate fan smuggled in flares to the Copa Libertadores Final by attaching them to a young child in crazy scenes.

Carnage erupted in Buenos Aires before kick-off as River Plate supporters launched missiles at Boca Junior's team bus.

Rocks, tear gas and other objects were thrown at the coach carrying Boca's players and staff.

And they did plenty of damage, breaking windows and injuring players.

A fan even attempted to enter the stadium with flares by wrapping them around a little child.

Madness.

The team bus was severely damaged following the pre-match battering. Here's footage from inside the vehicle.
