Jamie Redknapp Says The North London Derby Is The Best Fixture In Football

Jamie Redknapp has boldly claimed that the North London derby is the best football match in the world.

During the four-goal thriller at the Emirates, Redknapp stated that Arsenal vs. Tottenham is the best fixture in football.

"The North London derby is the best fixture in football, every time I watch it the football gets better," he said on Sky Sports.

Needless to say, his comments on the English fixture became the talking point of the online football community. Here's some reaction from Twitter:

Arsenal and Tottenham have a rich history of being involved in exciting clashes. This decade alone, football fans have been treated to 1-4, 2-3, 3-3, 5-2, 5-2, 2-2 and 4-2 scorelines.

And, of course, they played out another high scoring match on Sunday as the Gunners fought back from two-nil down to secure a point in dramatic fashion.
