Just moments after Germany were knocked out of the World Cup, adult website PornHub went and removed the German category from their website. Now that's a 'Löw' blow.

Two injury time goals from Kim Young-Gwon and Son Heung-Min left the footballing world in a state of shock as the likes of Thomas Muller and Mesut Ozil looked on in disbelief.

Before this tournament, a Germany side had never been knocked out at the group stage since 1938.

It has been an incredibly disappointing campaign for Joachim Low's side and to put their performances into perspective, Germany will bow out of the tournament with just four points.

That's rock bottom of the group.

Their shock elimination has certainly been a huge talking point on social media and PornHub clearly felt they needed to 'rub it in'.

"We will be removing the German category from Pornhub following their humiliating elimination." their tweet read.

Germany were expected to arrive in Russia and pick up where they finished off in Brazil four years ago, when they gave everyone else a spanking.

But defeat against Mexico was just the start of the slow and painful downfall and Germans took their World Cup frustrations out by watching more porn.

According to the country's biggest porn provider, Amateurcommunity.de, viewing figures straight after the match pocket rocketed up by 38%.

Expect there to be even more tissues shed this evening. I need to stop with the innuendos now, don't I.

Thoughts on Germany going home? Did they deserve to be knocked out?
