Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has claimed he will not play FIFA this year because of his downgrade in the latest edition of the game.
The Gabon international, who was one of the standout performers in world football last season, finished the Premier League campaign with 22 goals and led Arsenal to an FA Cup victory, scoring twice in the semi final and final.
Aubameyang also played a huge part in the club's Community Shield win over Liverpool last month but despite his best efforts, EA Sports handed the striker a -1 downgrade in FIFA 21.

In an unpopular call, the 31-year-old has gone from an 88-rated card on FIFA 20 Ultimate Team to an 87; a decision that was understandably met with confusion by not only Aubameyang, but fans around the world.
Since the news emerged about his downgrade, many have called out EA for a select number of unusual ratings.

Aubameyang has even claimed in a recent Twitter DM that he will not play FIFA this year following the decision.
As you can see in the below screenshot, Arsenal's number 14 says: "Ahahahaha not playing FIFA this year. This guys s*** on my card. 87-rating not enough."
In addition to Aubameyang's undeserved downgrade, it has been a year of bizarre ratings for several high profile players.

Villarreal midfielder Dani Parejo has gone down from 86 to 85, despite having huge increases on his card, meanwhile Christian Pulisic, who scored 11 goals in his first season for Chelsea, was handed a non-rare 81.
Arjen Robben comes in at an 80-rated card, despite being an 85-rated when a Bayern Munich player on FIFA 19.
YouTuber MattHDGamer created a video of all the weird ratings on FIFA 21.
