To the surprise of many fans, Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang appeared to drop a like on Cristiano Ronaldo's Instagram post following the club's 3-2 defeat against Manchester United.
The Gunners got off to the perfect start at Old Trafford when Emile Smith Rowe netted a bizarre goal as goalkeeper David de Gea lay on the ground following an accidental collision with teammate Fred.
Despite a number of promising moments, Mikel Arteta's side could not maintain their slender lead and just before the half-time break, Bruno Fernandes did well to adjust his body and slot home from close range.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who had missed a number of opportunities in the first half, managed to make it 2-1 to Manchester United but it didn't long for Arsenal to respond through a sweeping finish from Martin Odegaard.

But the Norwegian midfielder soon went from hero to villain when he brought down Fred in the penalty area. That man Ronaldo converted and Michael Carrick's final game in charge ended with a win.
After the full-time whistle, match-winner Ronaldo posted a picture of him celebrating his second goal against Arsenal.
"Our minds are already set on the next game, there's no time to celebrate!" he wrote.

"Today's win was very important to get back on track, but there's still a long road to go until we reach our destination... Congrats to all my teammates, great spirit tonight! And a very special thank you to our supporters, we couldn't have done it without you."
Fans soon noticed that club captain Aubameyang, who struggled throughout the Premier League clash at Old Trafford, had liked the post.
It didn't go down well with some.
