Cesc Fabregas is an assist merchant. He creates goals for fun and only Ryan Giggs has more assists than him in Premier League history.

Cesc Fabregas, 31, has officially signed for AS Monaco as he links up with former Arsenal teammate Thierry Henry. The pair are reunited following a prolific stint together in North London.

The AS Monaco boss now boasts a real playmaker in the shape of Fabregas, who owns a set of remarkable statistics.

The influential-Spaniard has created a stunning 111 goals in the Premier League and is the only player to provide 10+ assists in six different league campaigns.

He enjoyed eight glorious season's at Arsenal before moving to Barcelona where he forged a lethal partnership with Lionel Messi.

The World Cup winner then returned to England's top flight by securing a move to Chelsea, where he produced in the attacking third helping his side win not one but two Premier League titles.

Fabregas has etched an incredible legacy and will go down as one of the greatest creative players the Premier League has ever seen.

AS Monaco have a serious talent on their books, and Fabregas is excited about the 'new project'.

"It is a great pleasure to join AS Monaco, a new project for me," he told Monaco's official website.

"The group is of quality with young players and a young coach.

"January 'I'm here to help the team, I'm looking forward to starting, we have a great match to play in Marseille on Sunday. I am very excited."
