Odion Ighalo has opened his Manchester United goal account following his dream January transfer.

Ighalo scored on his full debut in the 34th minute after converting from close range to double his side's lead against Club Brugge.

Bruno Fernandes, who scored United's first goal, pinged a delightful ball to Juan Mata who squared the ball to Ighalo who tapped in to score his first goal for the club.

The Nigerian striker wheeled away in celebration and revealed a touching tribute to his sister who tragically passed away.

Ighalo's goal got United social media talking.

One wrote: "So pleased for him" while another wrote: "I'm so happy bro."

A third tweeted: "Nigerian R9. GOAT striker."

A fourth added: "That pass is a joke."
