Back in my day you'd pop to the local newsagent after school, purchase at least eight packets of Panini stickers for a couple of quid and walk out a very happy lad.
You might have opened seven swaps of David Batty and a Shiny Middlesbrough badge, but we kept on going back for more because that was your dinner money and collecting stickers was far more important than eating two smiley faces and a pile of lumpy mash.
It was a good time. A happy time. But things have changed.

It hasn't really gone down well online.
If you end up spending your hard earned money on 18 packs of stickers per day to accumulate a massive pile of swaps - including eight Gary Cahill's and 24 Thomas Muller's - then you might be broke by the end of the month.

The fact that a pack of stickers will cost 80p has received quite the reaction on social media:
Thoughts on the price of a packet of stickers? Has this ruined the past time of collecting and swapping?
