The atmosphere has been absolutely electric so far and the Lads should've taken the lead but @joshmaja couldn't flick home @Bryan_Oviedo's pull back from the left touchline. Moments before, @LyndenGooch curled one wide from 18 yards.

For those @SunderlandAFC asking for a last update I believe 45500 tickets were sold pre match. 2400 are left on the gate for purchase including around 500 away tickets so if there is a decent roll up the home end will be sold out.:clap::clap::clap::red_circle::white_circle::red_circle::white_circle:.

A great achievement which was echoed by executive director Charlie Methven.
"What a phenomenal achievement by our supporters and what a statement to the football world that Sunderland is on its way back," he said.

It's set to be the highest third tier attendance for 39 years and the crowd will be the biggest at this level since the 1979 Sheffield derby, which attracted 49,309 fans.
Tickets sales have surpassed the previous League One record of 38,256 for Leeds United's game against Gillingham in May 2008.
