Shocking defensive display from AS Roma, while Liverpool's attack were on typically terrifying form.

Ex-Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko did, though, bag an away goal. Liverpool then conceded a penalty with Diego Perotti coolly converting.

Liverpool now turn their attention to the Premier League campaign, before heading to Rome for the second leg.

They'll be heavy favourites going into the return fixture considering their hefty advantage.
