Danny Mills Names No Manchester United Players In Combined XI Ahead Of Liverpool Clash

Some Manchester United fans have argued David de Gea, Paul Pogba and Harry Maguire should have made it into Danny Mills' combined XI.

Danny Mills has slammed Manchester United's subpar season by snubbing any player for a combined Liverpool and Red Devils XI.

United have had a disappointing start to the campaign and are only two points above the relegation zone after their opening eight Premier League matches.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool have had a blistering start to their season as they have won all of their league matches and are eight points clear of defending champions Manchester City.

Former Leeds player Mills, 42, couldn't include a single United player in the combined XI ahead of any player in the in-form Reds.

And Mills took it one step further on Sky Sports by suggesting that some of the United players would struggle to make the bench for the XI.

Mills' XI has rattled United fans on Twitter, but many fans agreed with his selection based on the Red Devils' poor form.

Twitter user @NDK8A tweeted: "This is the most accurate combined XI that I've seen so far."

While @SpionKopite1892 added: "Finally talking sense..."

A third wrote: "No arguments there really. De gea pogba wan bissaka would make the Bench [sic]."

And Liverpool fan John Nightingale ‏said: "About time he spoke a bit of sense tbh."

Some United fans have continued to argue on social media that some players should have made the cut ahead of other Liverpool players.

United will host Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday for a 4:30pm kick-off UK time.
