Michael Carrick Appointed Interim Manager Of Manchester United

Jose Mourinho has been sacked by Manchester United, and it looks like Michael Carrick will be appointed interim manager of the club until the end of the season, according to Sky reports.
Carrick will be acting as interim until a new temporary manager is appointed, with an external appointment expected within 48 hours.
It is believed Carrick and Kieran McKenna will continue to take training in the meantime
From United: Carrick in interim charge, having been Mourinho's assistant, but not the planned caretaker manager until the end of the season.

United released a statement on Tuesday confirming that Mourinho has left the club.
"Manchester United announces that manager Jose Mourinho has left the club with immediate effect.
