Lionel Messi Takes Five Real Valladolid Players Out Of The Game With World-Class Assist For Arturo Vidal's Goal

Lionel Messi Takes Five Real Valladolid Players Out Of The Game With World-Class Assist For Arturo Vidal's Goal

Lionel Messi produced a world-class assist as he unlocked the Real Valladolid backline and set up Arturo Vidal for Barcelona's second.

The reigning La Liga champions took the lead early on at the Camp Nou when Messi crossed the ball into the area and Clement Lenglet's effort went in off the underside of the bar.

And the 32-year-old Argentine superstar stepped up when his side conceded after Marc-Andre ter Stegen fumbled the ball from a free-kick and Kiko pounced on the loose ball.

Barca midfielder Vidal linked up with Messi in the midfield and darted into the box as the club captain waited for the opportunity to pull off a perfect chip.

The Barcelona captain lofted the ball into the box and took five Valladolid players out of action as Vidal latched on to the chip and buried the ball past Jordi Masip.
