Mario Balotelli Responds To 'Nightclub Brawl' Allegations On Instagram

Earlier today, reports in Italy claimed that Mario Balotelli was at the scene of a mass brawl, near Brescia where a man lost three fingers. His involvement in the brawl itself remained unclear, until now.

The reports claimed that the former Manchester City man simply posed for photos with a group of teenagers at a club called Coco Beach, while there are also witnesses that state that Balotelli ran towards the bus the teenagers left on to engage himself in the fighting the youngsters had somehow become involved in.

Balotelli took to Instagram shortly after the claims and confirmed that it was 'FALSE SPECULATION' and stated that newspapers should focus on selling their pages on Italian results and not on speculation about his private life.'

Local police have refused to give any official statements so far, but according to Corriere della Sera, it's likely that the Italy international will at least be called to give a statement about what he saw.
