Manchester City Fans Love Ruben Neves' Response To Gary Neville On Premier League Launch Show

Ruben Neves has got himself some extra admirers ahead of his first season in the Premier League - that being following his appearance on the Premier League launch show on Sky Sports alongside Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville last night.

Neville asked the former Porto man, one of many guests on the show, about which ground he was looking forward to playing at with Wolves after Nuno Espirito Santo's side stormed the Championship last term.

Plenty of people thought the former Manchester United man was setting up the 21-year old to mention Old Trafford, given the 'Theatre of Dreams' would be a popular response.

However, to the delight of City fans, Neves stressed his excitement over the possibility of playing against Pep Guardiola's record-breakers.

"Well of course, City," he replied with a smile. They are one of the best teams in the world and they play very, very well."

Cue plenty of responses from City supporters on social media:

Neville, Carragher and Neves all then had a go at recreating the Portugal international's venomous volley against Derby County last season, with all three producing impressive attempts.

'G Nev' smashed against the post, 'Carra' marked his TV return with a stunner and priceless celebration, before Neves replicated his heroics with ease.
