Liverpool's Injury Curse Strikes Again In Merseyside Derby, This Time It's Jordan Henderson
It's official. Liverpool are cursed when it comes to injuries.
In the club's Premier League clash against Everton on Saturday afternoon, midfielder-turned-defender Jordan Henderson was brought off in the 29th minute after pulling up with hamstring/muscle issues.
The England international managed to sprint past Abdoulaye Doucouré but moments later, he fell to the ground in pain as a concerned Jurgen Klopp looked on.
Henderson's injury is just one of many when it comes to Liverpool's centre-backs. He will join Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Fabinho on the sidelines.
In fact, the Premier League champions have now had 18 different centre-back pairings in all competitions this season.

I fear for #LFC without Jordan Henderson if this is a bad injury.

That didn't look at all good for Jordan Henderson. No team could cope with the succession of injuries that have hit them this season and realistically challenge for the big trophies #LIVEVE #LFC pic.twitter.com/wXnbjuLPVK

Nat Phillips, who has made just six appearances for the club this season, replaced Henderson and joined new loan signing Ozan Kabak at the back for Jurgen Klopp's side.
Everton currently lead at half-time 1-0 after a third minute goal from Richarlison.
