Jamie Carragher has hilariously started a petition demanding Liverpool play all their remaining homes games this season at the Puskas Arena instead of Anfield following their Champions League victory.

The Reds recorded their first 'home' victory in all competitions since December after beating RB Leipzig 2-0 on Wednesday.

Goals from Mohamad Salah and Sadio Mane ensured a big win in Hungary as COVID-19 restrictions prevented the fixture from taking place on English soil.

Liverpool have scored more 'home' goals at the Puskas Arena (2) than they have at Anfield (1) in 2021.

And fans - including Carragher - want the club to continue to play their home matches in Budapest with the legendary defender even launching an official petition.

He posted a screen shot of the petition on social media.

The football pundit wrote: "Let Liverpool play all their remaining home games of this season in Budapest."

He isn't the only person behind the petition with their supporters jokingly backing the idea, too.

Jurgen Klopp's side have lost their last six games at Anfield and are yet to score from open play at home in 2021.

It comes after they went almost four years unbeaten at home in the Premier League.
