Kevin Nolan's Liverpool and Arsenal combined XI has got fans talking after the ex-Bolton and Newcastle United hero picked Joe Willock in midfield - instead of Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum and Fabinho.

Liverpool face Arsenal on Saturday and ahead of the huge Premier League clash, Nolan has named his combined XI and it's not gone down well.

Appearing on Sky Sports News, Nolan selected his combined XI and he raised a few eyebrows with his midfield. He opted for Arsenal youngster Willock as well as Dani Ceballos.

The 37-year-old snubbed Liverpool's Henderson, Wijnaldum, Fabinho, among others.

With Alisson out of contention through injury, Nolan named Bernd Leno in goal with a back four consisting of all Liverpool players in Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson.

As mentioned, Willock and Ceballos sit in front of the defence with Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in attack.

Needless to say, Nolan's combined XI became the talking point of the online football community. Here's some reaction from Twitter:

Liverpool and Arsenal are the only top flight teams to boast a 100% record at this early stage, but something's got to give on Saturday when Jurgen Klopp's charges host Unai Emery's side.
