Liverpool Fans Love Lucas Even More After What He Did Against AS Roma

Lucas is a red.

The ex-Liverpool midfielder now plies his trade in Italy with Lazio. And on Sunday night, his side played AS Roma in the tasty Rome derby.

Despite cutting his ties with the Anfield club in 2017, fans still hold him close to their heart, especially with performances like the other night.

Jurgen Klopp's charges take on AS Roma in the Champions League semi-final, and the Liverpool faithfuls reckon the Brazilian was attempting to nail the players on purpose ahead of the European fixture.

Lucas, who spent 10 seasons at Liverpool, was cautioned in the opening stages, and even though he was combative as ever, he somehow avoided being sent-off, as Lazio drew 0-0 with AS Roma.

Unlike teammate Stefan Radu who was shown a red card for two bookable offences.

Meanwhile, Liverpool will be hoping to raise their sixth European title, this season.

The five-time winners face AS Roma, with the first-leg a week on Tuesday.
