Leicester City are the latest to fall victim to kit designers everywhere as the current trend of providing clubs with the same shirt with a slightly altered design and colours has reared its' ugly head once again.

On first inspection it is not a bad kit, sporting the clubs' colours of blue and white, nothing too ghastly.

However, eagle-eyed fans of the East-Midlands team have noticed that the £55 2018/19 away shirt is already available online as an Adidas tee for £15, without the clubs' regalia.

£40 for a Foxes bade anyone?

Earlier in July, we reported that when Tottenham Hotspur unveiled their new strips for the 2018/19 season that their away kit was simply a remodelling of the Barcelona training kit - tut, tut Nike.

Leicester first revealed the new white away kit from new kit supplier Adidas for the first time on Wednesday and donned it that evening in a pre-season friendly against Valencia.

"Featuring sweat-wicking Climalite technology for optimum performance, the vintage design is equally suited to the field as it is to the terraces, featuring the iconic Adidas three stripes down each side," their press release said.

Yet it appears that Nike are not the only ones getting lazy with their kit designs, as Adidas are just as guilty.

In June Birmingham City revealed their new kits with fans pointing out the same Adidas tee gaffe that has befallen Leicester.

So now, are Leicester just playing in an inverted Birmingham City kit?

Not very vintage after all.
