Roberto Carlos celebrates his 45th birthday today, so to celebrate, we've went back in time to witness one of the most ridiculous passes ever. Because y'know, this is Roberto Carlos.
The Brazilian was renowned for his striking ability when it came to dead ball situations, and as the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Claude Makelele, Luis Garcia and Robbie Fowler all returned to the pitch back in June 2015, Carlos stole the show with a single pass.
But this wasn't just any pass.

In an action packed game as Real Madrid legends came up against Liverpool legends, the former Los Blancos defender casually flicked the ball up and did this:
Liverpool did take a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Harry Kewell and Michael Owen, but when you're playing against a team with Seedorf and Zidane in the middle of the park, there's always a chance they'll come back fighting.
And they did just that.

Carlos' thunderbolt penalty pulled a goal back for Real Madrid and another from the Brazilian completed the comeback for the Spanish legends. Amavisca and Perez helped themselves to a goal each to give Real Madrid a 4-2 win.
There's even a compilation of Carlos' stunning performance in that game:
We can't stop watching his' pass. Maybe you should have reconsidered your retirement, Roberto.

Will we ever see the like of Carlos ever again? I highly doubt it. Here's how social media celebrated the Brazilian's birthday:
Thanks for the memories, Roberto.
