Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho is currently learning the Korean language in a bid to strengthen his communication skills with striker Son-Heung Min.

The 57-year-old, who is already fluent in Spanish, Catalan, French, Italian, English and Portuguese, understands the importantance of embracing different cultures within a squad.

And while coaching his team on the pitch, Mourinho is actively learning native languages away from it to help communicate with his players.

Speaking at the launch of the club's Amazon documentary, which will drop on August 31st, the Spurs boss opened up about learning the Korean language.

"Communication is very important when I am with the group," he said via The Sun. "I have to go to the native language, which everybody understands.

"It's respectful to the culture of the club to speak the language of the individuals in it. In the series it was a Portuguese group of coaching staff, although we now also have an English coach in Ledley King.

"And with the players, I jump into their language - that is why I am learning Korean."

So what else can we expect from the Amazon prime documentary?

The multi-part series will give viewers unprecedented, behind-the-scenes access as well as a unique insight into the day-to-day workings of the football club.

Jose Mourinho's shock appointment after Mauricio Pochettino was sacked will be blockbuster viewing, not to mention the 7-2 defeat in the Champions League to Bayern Munich at the start of October, where Serge Gnabry punished the Premier League side in the second half when he scored an incredible four times.

And an early exit from the FA Cup to Premier League strugglers Norwich City will add another level of excitement after Mourinho's decision to pick third choice goalkeeper Michel Vorm backfired.

Spurs' League Cup exit to Colchester after losing on penalties against the League Two side will also likely feature, while Eric Dier's altercation with a fan after Tottenham's defeat to Norwich will potentially crop up as well.
