The 63-year-old, known for using a high-intensity style of play, has reportedly reached an agreement to become interim manager at Manchester United following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last weekend.
As well as a unique style of play, 'the king of gegenpressing' brings bags of experience to Old Trafford, with spells at Stuttgart, Schalke and Hoffenheim under his belt during a 38-year spell in management.
Rangnick, who is expected to join the ranks at Old Trafford until the end of the season pending approval from current club Lokomotiv Moscow, will likely bring a new philosophy to underperforming United if he eventually takes the job.
And a clip of him delivering a passionate team talk during his time at Leipzig shows what type of manager we should expect.
Check out the moment he switches off the light. Incredible.
Fans on social media believe the German's animated nature in the dressing room is needed at Old Trafford following a disappointing start to the campaign.
Ralf Rangnick coming to shake up the dressing room!

#PLFANS I think Ralf Rangnick would do a good job in Manchester United. German coaches are proven winners.. he would bring a winning mentality into the dressing room hopefully.

But despite the rousing speech in the above clip, Rangnick likes to avoid the changing room before games in a bid to escape modern-day music.
"I'm 60 now, and I'm thankful that I have my own office - mostly to escape the music they play in the dressing room before games," he told The Coaches' Voice in 2018.
"It would have been too loud for me as a player. But musical tastes aside, I have a strong connection with my players."
