Kylian Mbappe has liked a post comparing him to Trent Alexander-Arnold who copied his trademark celebration in Liverpool's thrashing of Leicester City.

Alexander-Arnold performed Mbappe's signature pose after scoring Liverpool's fourth goal in their ruthless rout of Leicester on Boxing Day.

The Liverpool star wheeled away in celebration following his stinging strike and crossed his arms similar to Mbappe whose made that celebration famous.

And the Frenchman liked Alexander-Arnold's version of his celebration on social media.

The England international also indirectly tweeted at Mbappe: "Anything Mbappe can do," he wrote on Twitter.

Naturally, Alexander-Arnold's Mbappe-inspired celebration sent Liverpool Twitter into meltdown.

Meanwhile, Liverpool's 4-0 victory moves them 13 points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

The Reds resume their league campaign against Wolves on Sunday.
