Journalist Claims Man City Are The Best Premier League Side Since '04, Gary Neville Responds

It's a big debate...

Who is the greatest Premier League team of all time?

This popular debate has been known to cause a few arguments, just ask my mate Wayne who thinks the Arsenal invincibles of 03/04 are the best thing since sliced bread.

Another friend of mine is convinced that Manchester United's team of '08 had it all and he has a very good point.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Tevez and Wayne Rooney banged them in for fun, while Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic became arguably the best defensive partnership of the Premier League era.

For many years, these two sides have dominated this discussion but another team have recently entered the debate.

Enter Pep Guardiola's current Manchester City side.

Kevin de Bruyne, David Silva and Sergio Aguero have remained at the club for some time, but the additions of Leroy Sane, Bernardo Silva and Aymeric Laporte have given them a new leece of life, not to mention the defensive additions of Mendy and Danilo.

But are they the greatest Premier League side since the Arsenal invincibles of 2004?

Daily Mirror journalist John Cross, who tweeted earlier today, believes they certainly are better than Wenger's side.

Manchester United legend and Sky pundit Gary Neville didn't exactly agree with Cross and suggested his former club's team between 2006 and 2011 is far better.

"Hi John, United 2006-11 won multiple leagues, won CL and reached 2 finals and had @Cristiano (best player in the world in 08 @WayneRooney @rioferdy5 vidic, Scholes/Giggs/Tevez etc." he tweeted.

Do you agree with Neville on this occasion?
