We're not sure what's better; Jordan Pickford's performance in goal against Colombia or his old Tweets?

Sure, he produced a stunning finger-tip save in normal time AND saved a penalty in the shootout, but Tweets dating back from 2012 asking for a Sky box in his room is just gold.

Gareth Southgate chose Pickford as his No.1 for the World Cup. And against Colombia, he starred between the sticks helping his country reach the next round.

His heroic outing inspired a slew of congratulatory Tweets.

People even went the extra mile to unearth his old Tweets and it makes for hilarious reading.

As well as this banger from 2013 about Nando's.

England fans found Pickford's Tweet, then replied to his 2013 post following England's last 16 game against Colombia.

Pickford, 24, graduated from Sunderland's youth academy before eventually breaking into the first team.

After a breakout 2016/17 campaign, he sealed a transfer to Everton and has since become England's main man in goal.

What a bloke.
