Derby County's Bradley Johnson was a lucky man after he bit into Stoke City's Joe Allen and walked away with only a yellow card.
Yes, the 31-year-old midfielder took a page out of Luis Suárez's book and went for an early snack on the 28-year-old Welshman.

It all took place after Oghenekaro Etebo received a straight red for a reckless challenge on Richard Keogh.

Johnson might have been able to avoid a red card from the referee, but he could face a ban if the incident is reviewed (and it probably will be, to be honest).
Bradley Johnson will get a retrospective ban for that, he's literally biting joe Allen scum

Bradley Johnson has a bite mark and blood on his neck. Joe Allen says "nothing in it". Sorry Dan, tell me more about how the FA will see your tweet?...

Pretty sure it was the other way around mate. That Stoke shirt must have looked tasty to Bradley Johnson?! :yum: pic.twitter.com/ubeEsxFqpY

Just witnessed Bradley Johnson do a Suarez to Joe Allen whilst turning off Villa Forrest which is 3-3 at HT. What a wonderful league #EFL

Good management by Lampard. He knows Bradley Johnson is a sending off waiting to happen . And if the FA have anything about them he'll get 6 games for that .

Seeing as the ref saw the incident, can the FA retrospectively ban Bradley Johnson? I mean, the ref has obviously fucked up, but if he saw the incident and deemed it not to be a red, can he still be done?

Should Johnson receive a ban?
