A phenomenal compilation of Jay-Jay Okocha's player career shows how he was football's elite showman.

The former Nigerian playmaker is shown using incredible skills and tricks to deceive defenders whenever the ball is at his feet during his 18 year playing career.

Okocha's unorthodox playing style made him one of the most exciting players to watch in Europe.

As seen in the clip, Okocha's officially announced himself to the football world in 1993 where he scored a sensational goal for Eintracht Frankfurt against Oliver Kahn, dummying several times before striking the ball into the net.

After this goal, he ventured to Turkey, playing for Fenerbahce and eventually moved to Paris Saint-Germany where he played with his football 'brother' Ronaldinho.

12 years after his first team debut in Germany, Okocha made the surprising move to Sam Allardyce's Bolton Wanderers where he was hugely popular amongst fans.

During his time at the club, the Nigerian was famously deemed "so good they named him twice" and achieved cult hero status amongst Bolton fans.

He eventually became club captain where he lead the team to a League Cup final which they lost to Middlesbrough.

Okocha also helped Bolton to an eighth place finish, meaning that the club were part of the UEFA cup for the first time in their history.

In Allardyce's Autobiography, he praised the brilliance of Okocha during his time in the Premier League: "I love Jay-Jay's tricks on the ball, I could watch him all day... He could do drag-backs, flick-overs, double step-overs, there's been no else like him, not even Cristiano Ronaldo."

On the international scene, Okocha was part of some fabulous Nigerian teams and was crucial in them famously winning their second African Cup of Nations in 1994 and the Olympic Games in 1996.
