Jack Wilshere Sends Message To Arsenal Fans After Cup Final Defeat And People Are Fuming
Jack Wilshere will be one of the first to admit that he didn't play his best game for Arsenal in their Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City at the weekend.
The England international struggled to make an impression on the game and 24 hours after his performance at Wembley, the 26-year-old has criticised some of the decisions made throughout.
In fact, he's named the three decisions that went against Arsenal in his latest Instagram post.
"Hard to put into words my emotions about yesterday." he said on Instagram.
"City are a good team and deserved to win yesterday. A lot of people have had their say on us and we have to accept criticism when we lose. That being said i can't accept some of the decisions that went against us yesterday."
Wilshere showing just how deep Wenger has sunk his whiny little claws into the club. Actually pathetic. He's literally wrong about everything in this. Don't get me fucking started on his grammar and how much of a bell end he is. pic.twitter.com/zdbcDFD0fG- Esteemed Kompany (@StevenMcinerney) February 26, 2018
"What ever you say about the first goal, its a foul. The second goal is offside. There should have been a second yellow in the first half. Yes this happens in football but its still hard to accept.
And people will say we are looking for excuses but these are facts. Anyway we need to respond, starting on Thursday.
Thanks to all the gooners for your support and trust me we feel the same but we need to stick together."
I love Jack Wilshere but I'm not sure he's got THAT much of a leg to stand on here, the first one is a foul but it's also so soft you can't really complain that it isn't given. The second one isn't really offside, he doesn't affect the play. It's just clutching at straws.- The 2Ö21 Man (@_The12thMan) February 26, 2018
Wilshere's response to Sunday's defeat received quite the reaction on social media:
I do wish Jack Wilshere would stop starting fights when Arsenal have already lost. It's not "PASHUN", it's totally futile and he's old enough to know that now.- Tim Stillman (@Stillberto) February 26, 2018
If he thinks that 1st goal is a foul we all might aswell give up on football and call it day. What about his dive to try and get Fernandinho a 2nd yellow. Monreals outrageous dive also.- Chris Harvey (@cjharvey2007) February 26, 2018
Wilshere put this up on Instagram. New level of embarrassing and I'm not talking about the spelling mistakes. pic.twitter.com/X9gjFl4d2t- ARYAN (@theunitedmanc) February 26, 2018
Can't believe Wilshere is making excuses for yesterday's result- Ale (@AlejoCokeBoy) February 26, 2018
Jack Wilshere's rant about Sunday is a shining example that he needs to be nowhere near the England team.- Mitch (@MitchTomlin) February 26, 2018
Thoughts on Wilshere's rant? Has he actually got a point about the decisions made?
