Isco Has Proven At This World Cup That He's Up There With The Best

What a player.

Isco completed the most crosses, successful dribbles and passes against Iran last week.

It summed up his performance throughout this thrilling World Cup campaign and unsurprisingly, the Spaniard proved his quality once more against Morocco in the final game in Group B.

Despite a below par performance from his team, the Real Madrid playmaker produced another masterclass in the centre of the park, effortlessly gliding across the park, dribbling past opponents and finding his teammates with consummate ease.

Isco, who equalised to make it 1-1 in the first half, deservedly picked up the Man of the Match award and a couple of stats from the night proves his dominance in midfield, especially in the past year or so with the national side.

Surely the 26-year-old has to be regarded as one of the best in his position, right now.

Isco wasn't exactly a guaranteed starter under Zinedine Zidane last season, but his performances in Russia this summer will surely land him more minutes in the coming months.

Although he wasn't a first team regular at Los Blancos, the Spaniard started the game against Juventus in the Champions League and proved just how confident he is in possession with an impressive 100% passing rate.

That was 54 completed passes out of 54, the only player with a perfect passing record in Turin.

Thoughts on the talents of Isco? Will he help lead Spain to World Cup glory this summer?

Let us know in the comments.
