Chelsea loanee Michy Batshuayi watched on as Chelsea were convincingly beaten by Watford on Monday night.

The defending Premier League champions traveled to Vicarage Road, looking to capitalise on Liverpool and Spurs dropping points following their thrilling 2-2 draw on Sunday.

Though proceedings didn't get off to a good start. Summer signing Tiemoue Bakayoko was sent his marching orders after picking up two cautions, with the hosts eventually taking the lead through Troy Deeney from the spot.

But, as ever, Eden Hazard produced a moment of magic to level the score. However, Watford fired back in stunning fashion, netting three goals in the space of seven minutes.

The defeat still leaves Chelsea in the Champions League places but just one point ahead of rivals, Spurs.

Naturally, Chelsea's miserable Monday night was the talk of social media with plenty of reaction flying around on Twitter.

Including their Belgium striker who's on loan at Borussia Dortmund.

He didn't write a single word, responding to Chelsea's loss with a few 'crying face' emoji's.

Following the January arrival of Olivier Giroud, Chelsea sent Batshuayi out on loan to the Bundesliga outfit and he marked his debut in brilliant style.

He netted a brace as Borussia Dortmund won 3-2 at FC Koln.
