Mattéo Guendouzi apparently gestured "I'm in your head" to John Terry during Arsenal's dramatic come-from-behind victory against Aston Villa on Sunday.

Guendouzi appeared to have running beef with Terry as a fan has detailed his fiery exchanges with the Aston Villa coach.

According to @seangooner, the young French midfielder looked over to Terry from the 85th minute onwards every time he was involved in a play.

"I was sat directly behind the Aston Villa dugout. Guendouzi and John Terry exchanged words throughout. After the third goal, Guendouzi went straight to JT, gesturing 'I'm in your head'. So, so good," he wrote.

"Not sure. But every time Guendouzi completed a pass, was fouled etc. from 85mins onwards he looked over to JT. Had him on strings," the Twitter user replied to someone asking what Terry said to Guendouzi.

Arsenal fought back from 1-0 down, and with 10 men, to beat Aston Villa 3-2 with Guendouzi delivering a heroic performance from the middle of the park.

He had the most touches (97) in the game and produced 83 passes at a completion rate of 88%.

Alan Shearer spoke glowingly about the 20-year-old on Match of the Day 2.

"This guy Guendouzi was absolutely magnificent in the second half, they needed a warrior and he stood up," he said.

"Again Guendouzi, super ball in, weight of pass. Yes, they get a little bit of luck but he [Calum Chambers] finishes it off."

Unai Emery also praised Guendouzi's superb outing

"With Matteo, last year when he came here he progressed and he is progressing. Really I like that spirit he has, he has talent but above all his attitude, his energy, his commitment and his behaviour."

Arsenal's victory over Aston Villa moves them to fourth place in the Premier League table ahead of their next fixture against Manchester United.
