It's a real shame that injuries have denied us the chance of seeing a truly magnificent player in Manchester United and Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi.
Rossi, who was tipped for greatness at Old Trafford during a three year spell in Manchester, has suffered an anterior crucial ligament injury against Eibar and will be out for 6-7 months.
The 30-year-old's latest injury is Rossi's fourth major knee problem, with injuries hampering his spells at United, Villarreal and Fiorentina as well as other clubs.

Celta Vigo announced the news on their Twitter account earlier today:
Rossi was pictured crying on the sidelines after suffering the injury, as teammates comforted the Italian forward.
"No update has been given by Celta Vigo yet, as their 2-0 loss to Eibar has just gone final, but there are reports that Rossi has possibly suffered yet another ACL tear, this time in his left knee."
At one stage of his career, Rossi was prolific for La Liga side Villarreal. In 2013, He bagged a memorable 14-minute hat-trick that condemned Juventus to their first defeat in Florence for 15 years, but would later be ruled out for five months with another knee injury

Here are all four of Giuseppe Rossi 's goals from his time at Manchester United:
What could have been. A magnificent player in his prime, let's just hope that Rossi can return to full fitness following his latest injury woes.
