Gareth Southgate Names James Maddison In England Squad

The England team is in and it includes a first senior call-up for Leicester City's James Maddison.

One of the most notable inclusion is Maddison who has produced heroics for The Foxes this season following his summer transfer from Norwich City.

He was snapped up for £20 million.

The 21-year-old has been at the heart of everything creative at Leicester City, and is rewarded for his early form with a call-up to the England team.

Chelsea loanee Mason Mount has also been selected. The 19-year-old midfielder is enjoying first-team football on loan at Derby County under the management of Frank Lampard.

Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho gets a place, too.

The Three Lions have two UEFA National League trips to Croatia and Spain.

On Friday 12th October, England face Croatia. And on Monday 15th October, England take on Spain.

Spain's squad to play England features plenty of Premier League based players such as David De Gea, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Cesar Azpilicueta, Marcos Alonso and Alvaro Morata.

England kicked-off their UEFA Nation League campaign by losing at home to Spain, who also thrashed Croatia.

Luis Enrique's side top Group 4 with six points. England and Croatia are both on zero points.
