Alexis Sanchez decided to leave the Arsenal squad after a 'dramatic breakthrough' in the transfer saga involving Manchester United and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, last night.

The 29-year-old will finally put pen to paper on a deal to sign for Manchester United according to reports.

But despite his impending transfer, a banner of Alexis and his two dogs still hangs inside the Emirates stadium.

Although one of his banners was taken down before kick-off, the image of Sanchez and his dogs, Atom and Humber, are still very visible.

As you can imagine, the majority of Arsenal fans aren't exactly happy about it and voiced their anger on Twitter before, during and after the match against Crystal Palace.

As we mentioned earlier, Sanchez waved goodbye to his Arsenal teammates on Friday night after a 'dramatic breakthrough' in the transfer saga.

The 29-year-old travelled to Manchester in the late hours and is now set for his Manchester United medical this weekend after he left Arsenal's team hotel.

He received a call to inform him of a 'breakthrough in negotiations' and made the journey up north.

Arsenal fans, what do you think of the Sanchez banner?
