Manchester City full-back Kyle Walker was heard screaming "He's saved it!" as Bruno Fernandes made his run up before scoring from the spot in Sunday's Manchester Derby.

It was a vibrant start to the game from United, who burst out the blocks with a number of dangerous attacks in the opening moments.

In fact, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side got their just reward in the second minute when referee Anthony Taylor pointed to the spot after Anthony Martial was brought down by Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus.

The ever-reliable Bruno Fernandes converted from the spot moments later, despite the attempts of substitute Kyle Walker to try and distract him.

You can just about hear Walker's screams in the footage below.

Ederson got his fingertips to Fernandes' effort from the spot, but his shot was too powerful.

It must have come as a shock to Pep Guardiola and his team. Fernandes' goal was the earliest City have ever conceded in a league match at the Etihad.

In fact, the Premier League leaders had not been behind for a single minute in any of their previous 19 league games until that goal from the Portuguese midfielder, who now has 41 goal involvements in 42 Premier League games.

Can Manchester United hold onto their lead and close the [large] gap in the title race?
