There's nothing quite like sitting down with a brew and a biscuit to watch the Three Lions smash Panama at the World Cup.

Just ask James Milner, who had the perfect set-up on this glorious Saturday afternoon.

Milner, who has definitely become a parody of the 'boring James Milner' Twitter account, produced the goods ahead of the World Cup tie between England and their Group G opponents.

Moments before kick-off, the Liverpool midfielder turned defender posted this on his social media accounts and the crowd went wild for it.

"Curtains closed, brewed up, game on! Come on England!" followed by a flurry of hashtags.

Milner would have undoubtedly finished off those digestives in pure excitement as England knocked six past their opponents.

John Stones scored a brace, Harry Kane became only the third England player to score a hat-trick in a World Cup match and Jesse Lingard curled in the goal of the game as the Three Lions ran riot.

England legend Gordon Banks might want to reassess his thoughts on their chances in Russia.

Hernán Gómez's side managed to pull one back in the end, but it was only a consolation as plenty of records were smashed.

Just look at the unbridled joy on Milner's face.

Never change, James.
