Harry Maguire Wears The Smallest Shinpads In The World And It's Becoming A Meme

Leicester have just released their new away kit for next season, bur rather than concentrate on the new design, people have spotted something rather unusual about defender Harry Maguire.

Maguire, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United in recent days, decided to wear perhaps the smallest shinpads of all time and in the process, has become an internet meme.

Seriously, did someone accidentally pick up a junior pair for the photoshoot?

Even the man himself has joked about the size of his shinnies, saying: "I didn't expect the photographer to 2 foot tackle me, to be honest." he replied to a tweet.

You've got to applaud him for taking the piss out of himself. Classic.

Leciester face Manchester United next Friday in their Premier League opener,so let's hope Maguire find a suitable pair in his local Sport Direct or else 'Slabhead' might suffer a nasty injury.

It certainly got people talking on social media, with one account saying it reminds them of a Sunday morning when you have to use the spare ones from the kit bag.
