In a quite extraordinary sequence of events, Tottenham Hotspur appear to have been trolled by a 'rogue' member of the Dulux social media team, just minutes after announcing a new sponsorship deal with them.
It all began when the North London side posted an official annoucement on Twitter to announce Dulux - the nation's number one paint brand - as their first ever official paint supplier.
"The relationship will see us benefit from the unrivalled expertise in paint and colour that Dulux provides." they wrote on their official website.
Nuno Pena, who is the AkzoNobel Marketing Director for UK & Ireland, later said: "Spurs are one of the best-known football teams in the Premier League and in Europe, while at Dulux we remain the nation's number one paint brand."

It was all going to plan. I mean, the Dulux dog even enjoyed a kick about in the Tottenham Hotspur stadium as the club announced the brand as its official partner.
But things were about to go pear-shaped when a 'rogue' Dulux admin got involved.
Just minutes after the announcement was posted on @SpursOfficial, a number of fans joked about the deal.

One fan said: "Can the dog play centre-back?" while another commented: "Time to paint the trophy cabinet."
Then, to the surprise of many fans reading the post, @duluxuk decided to start trolling Jose Mourinho's side. Just take a look at some the replies below (they've been deleted now, but we were quick off the mark).
Here's another....
The admin can be seen replying: "He might do a better job Chris" after a fan asks if the Dulux dog can play centre-back.
And here's another...
Jon Babbs, who is the Stadium Director at Tottenham Hotspur, said the club are "delighted" to welcome Dulux as their official paint supplier. "It is important that we have the best products available as we strive to maintain excellence at our Stadium and Training Centre facilities." he added.

Social media, meanwhile, have been reacting to the scenes.
Incredible.
