An Everton fan has created her own version of hit song We Will Rock You! ahead of Saturday afternoon's Merseyside derby.

Twitter user Pepper Mills, who claims to be Everton's number one fan, has posted the 55 second-long video featuring YouTube fan channel Anfield Agenda, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and a quite 'unique' solo on the recorder.

According to the lyrics, Carlo Ancelotti's side will "slap Liverpool down to seventh place" in today's highly-anticipated Premier League clash at Anfield.

You can see Pepper's video below alongside the caption: "We're going to thrash the Kopites today. We are one and no one will hold us back or stop us."

So, what's the inspiration behind the song?

"It's pure love for my team," Pepper tells SPORTbible. "I just want my fellow blues to be inspired and invigorated by my music. I also wanted to showcase my voice and my passion for dance and movement.

"I think it's a really big responsibility to be known and recognised as Everton's number 1 fan, and I think posting positive content such as this shows just how involved and passionate I am about my team."

The video has picked up over 250,000 views at the time of writing and Pepper, 19, has been working all week to create the video.

"I knew upon posting this that I may perhaps rattle some people, but it's all part and parcel of my job." she told us.

"Writing the song was the easy part. It took me about an hour in total to really perfect the lyrics. The filming and editing was the hard part.

"I live by myself so filming can be difficult. It took me two days of solid filming, and a full week to edit around my full time job."

So how does Peppa think the game will play out on Saturday afternoon?

"My video suggests we will beat Liverpool 9-0, but if I'm being realistic, a scrappy 3-1 win with an Alisson Howler to top it off would do."

The 19-year-old teased the release of today's music video at midnight and just two hours before publishing onto social media, she said: "The time is nearly upon us. 1pm my sweet pepper army. Your queen returns.

The song has certainly picked up plenty of reaction on social media since it was posted earlier today.

Everton will host local rivals Liverpool at 17:30 on Saturday afternoon as The Reds try and claw back some much needed points in the Premier League title race. Who do you think will come out on top?
