Arsenal Fan TV favourite TY was involved in a heated debate with former Liverpool centre-back Jamie Carragher ahead of the Premier League campaign - and the outcome has entertained plenty of fans on social media.

In a first-ever Live Fan Debate on The Overlap - a series produced by the guys over at Sky Bet - Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher were joined by some of the biggest fan channels across England, including members of Arsenal Fan TV.

There were numerous topics spoken about in the show, including Premier League title favourites, the impact of Jack Grealish and Harry Kane's desire to leave but for many, it was a debate involving an AFTV member that sparked the most reaction.

So here's how it began. Josh Denzel, who was presenting the show, informed the crowd that according to a Sky Bet survey, 96% of fans think that the winner of the Premier League is going to come from a 'top four' club from last year - Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.

He then asks if anybody can do a Leicester in the coming months - and who is the most likely to be in that position?

"No, that won't happen," Carragher says when asked if any club could win the league like Leicester did in 2015/16. "That was something that we'll look back on in 20 or 30 years time and people will say that was the most amazing thing we've seen in the Premier League.

"It was unbelievable. And they don't get enough respect for that season."

He continues: "In terms of other teams who might be challenging, we are getting to the stage now where we're almost not classing Leicester as one of those teams. They won the FA Cup and beat City in the Charity Shield. They have brilliant recruitment. They sell big and buy cheap. That's what they do.

"You look at Villa, they are having a go despite losing Grealish. Everton with Benitez - I don't see that...."

Gary Neville then suggests whether Tottenham or Arsenal will be challenging come the end of the season. "No," Carragher says before saying he "feared" for Arsenal.

It didn't take long for TY to interrupt.

"I would disagree with that," TY said. "I'm going to defend the team. All of a sudden now, we are nobodies. Manchester United haven't always been at the top. Neither have Liverpool. Let's just get this straight. We've never been relegated. But why, all of a sudden, are we classed as nobodies?"

Carragher then says: "Nobodies in terms of winning the league," before TY asks: "But that's what you're saying, that Arsenal don't have a chance?"

What happened next is comedy gold. Take a look for yourself:

Things then escalated when Carragher questioned Arsenal's strategy in the transfer window. "You are bringing David Luiz in. You are bringing Willian in," he says. "I can't get behind that. It's wrong." But TY still decided to defend his team. Check this out:
