Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin has continued his ruthless streak on Twitter by replying to a Sunderland fan with a The Weeknd's Super Bowl meme.

The 23-year-old isn't afraid to voice his opinion on the social media platform.

He responded to a fan who flashed his penis in their FA Cup clash against Oxford in February last year by saying, "That's messed up since we didn't see anything because of the cold night (hopefully)."

Saint-Maximin also replied to a fan who asked what he'd do if Lionel Messi asked for the 10 shirt. "I will wake up."

On Tuesday afternoon, the former Nice and Saint-Etienne winger once again lived up to his Twitter reputation by responding to a Sunderland supporter who slated Newcastle's U23 side.

It all started when today's Tyne-Wear derby was postponed due to heavy snowfall and in the comments section, a Twitter user wrote: "Sunderland would win anyway lol you're team is shit."

Saint Maximin then posted a GIF of The Weeknd's Super Bowl performance alongside the caption: "The Premier League calendar looking for Sunderland season after season."

He's done it again, folks.

It has been an entertaining week for the Frenchman, who had the perfect response to Sky pundit Paul Merson when he spent the afternoon mispronouncing his name "Sam Maximus" throughout Saturday's Soccer Saturday programme.

Paul Merson later responded to Saint-Maximin's post, apologising for his error.

Never change, Allan.
