Furious fans have blasted 'VARchester United' on social media after Harry Maguire's challenge on Michy Batshuayi.

The Manchester United defender cleared the ball down the line in the 21st minute as he went tumbling to the floor at Stamford Bridge.

But Maguire, who was signed for a whopping £80m last summer, accidentally caught the Chelsea striker with his leg.

VAR looked into the kick and found that there was no foul play from the 26-year-old United captain.

However, that hasn't stopped fans from flocking to Twitter and branding United 'VARchester.'

United took a 1-0 lead into half-time after Anthony Martial headed home from an Aaron Wan-Bissaka cross.

Update: Harry Maguire scored a second-half header to seal an important 2-0 win for Manchester United against Chelsea. But Blues fans are furious with two more VAR decisions that ruled out goals from Kurt Zouma and Olivier Giroud.
