A football fan has controversially ranked the Premier League 'big six' forwards from "god tier" to "useless."

Twitter user @ftbl_george used TierMaker to rank the attackers from Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea.

And the 'god tier' category features just two players in the shape of Sergio Aguero and Mohamed Salah.

Below 'god tier' is the 'world class' tier and includes Roberto Firmino, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Son Heung-min, Sadio Mane and Harry Kane.

The 'very good' category boasts Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus, Marcus Rashford, Riyad Mahrez and Pepe.

Christian Pulisic, Xherdan Shaqiri, Divock Origi, Bukayo Saka, Tammy Abraham and Gabriel Martinelli feature in the 'good' tier, while Willian, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Olivier Giroud and Mason Greenwood make up the 'alright' section.

And, finally, the brutal 'useless' category includes Alexandre Lacazette, Erik Lamela, Daniel James, Raheem Sterling, Anthony Martial, Pedro and Lucas Moura.

God tier: Sergio Aguero, Mohamed Salah

World class: Roberto Firmino, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Son Heung-min, Sadio Mane, Harry Kane

Very good: Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus, Marcus Rashford, Riyad Mahrez, Pepe

Needless to say, the contentious ranking sent social media into overdrive.

"If you watch Pépé you know he's been very good recently," one social media user wrote.

A second tweeted: "Sterling ain't on the same level as Daniel James."

A third added: "Martial useless. This is spot on."

A fourth wrote: "Liverpool fans trying to sneak Firmino into the world class category like we wouldn't notice."
